Here's the real story
The friendly staff and well-maintained pools. We experienced some issues with our room, including WiFi and hot water, but the management promptly offered a solution. Dining options were diverse, and the gardens created a peaceful atmosphere. Just be prepared for a bit of a hassle with the reception staff.

I went on a trip and everything here was really good. The room was fashionable, reasonably large with balcony and a seaview plus big bathroom, I was pleased. Got extensive breakfasts with pasta and waffles and meat.

Beautifully maintained gardens enhance relaxation.
The room cleanliness was disappointing and not up to standard. I found the bathroom facilities outdated and uncared for. The food hygiene was alarming, with flies often spotted around open dishes.

In my kids' opinion, it would be great to have more entertainment options during the day. The lack of activities for them was disappointing.

Oh, the grilled dishes at the Tangezi restaurant were out of this world-perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection! The staff, especially Eliud and Lawrence at the bar, made sure we were never thirsty, and the water activities were a blast! The spa was a cherry on top, relaxing!
The check-in was a nightmare, took ages and we ended up in the wrong room type. Plus, the smoking policy was a bummer with folks puffing away everywhere-definitely not cool, especially when trying to enjoy a family game night at Tapa Tapa.

Baobab Beach Resort & Spa impressed me with its fine architecture right on Diani Beach. The staff proved friendly, always making sure I felt welcome. Meals featured delicious traditional Kenyan dishes with plenty of variety. The lush gardens and pool areas were beautifully maintained. The check-in process took ages, and I ended up in the wrong room type, frustrating. Outside the resort, beach boys aggressively tried to sell me things. The lack of shaded seating options by the pools made it tough to find a comfortable spot. Despite these inconveniences, the beautiful beachfront location and fantastic dining were great.
